9. American Cream Draft Horse
Height: 15-16.3 hands
Weight: 1,600-2,000 pounds
The American Cream Draft could be the only draft horse breed developed in the United States that still exists today. They are a fairly new and rare breed, first developed in Iowa during the early 1900s. Simply because their name indicates, they are generally cream in color, with amber eyes as well as friendly disposition and a calm. These muscular horses are medium-sized and remain commonly used for farm work, carriage driving, trail riding, and also show jumping.
8. Clydesdale Horse
Height: 17-18 hands
Weight: 1,800-2000 pounds
Originating in the Clydesdale valley in Lanarkshire, Scotland, the Clydesdale is a heavy also immensely powerful and muscular horse, however, not pretty much as they were in the past. They are well-muscled horses, with an arched back, a broad forehead, and great muzzle, and they are commonly bay in color. They were initially used in agriculture and hauling work – largely for hauling coal – and remain in use for farming, logging, and driving, and also show riding and pleasure riding.
